HACCP Training for Food Handlers
The maintenance of food safety is an essential requirement for any food business. HACCP is used as a way of keeping food safe. It is important for anyone working in a food business to understand and apply the HACCP principles to keep food safe. This HACCP awareness course is designed for food handlers and anyone working in a food business. This course introduces the HACCP principles and how they are used to manage food safety.
This is a bespoke half-day course that is adapted to match the needs of your business. The course introduces the main hazard types associated with food safety and puts the principles of food safety and HACCP into simple easy to understand terms. It will help all who work in a food business to understand HACCP and appreciate how it supports the management of food safety.
If required, a final course assessment can be undertaken leading to the RSPH Level 2 Foundation Certificate in HACCP.
The main benefit of this training is that all within the business know and appreciate the value of HACCP as a method of maintaining the safety of food products.
Remember this course is delivered in a bespoke format tailor-made to meet your business needs. The delivery method is also matched to your needs. We can either:
- Deliver the training on-site with social distancing. To do this we would obviously need to agree on a protocol with you in advance, specifying how we are going to conform with COVID-19 guidance. The number of participants will obviously depend on your facilities and the social distancing that is achievable.
- Deliver the training remotely. The course would be structured to ensure full participation of all and would be formed of a series of on-line inputs delivered via Zoom and off-line activities that participants would be required to complete. Again to implement this approach we would finalise the details of the approach in advance to best meet your needs.
